welcome to the 19th century! This "banjo clock" has been painted to look like mahogany. In France it is called a "comatose". This one was made in Toulouse and sat in my house in France for 20 years before i brought it into the shop. It functions and has a servants ring (which means it rings twice). great for the entry way or to grace the end of a hallway.
